TOM "KRAZY" E. KREBSBACH Obituary - 2021 (2024)

Tom “Krazy” E. Krebsbach, 66, Medford was pronounced dead on Thursday, February 25 at his residence in the City of Medford.

A memorial mass for Tom will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 5 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Friday. Due to COVID concerns, masks will be required at the church.

Tom was born on May 9, 1954 at Marshfield, the son of Edmund and Marie (Dahlke) Krebsbach. He attended St. John’s Catholic School, Edgar and was a 1972 graduate of Edgar High School. His marriage took place on June 16, 1979 at Divine Savior Church in Shawano to Karen K. Kroll and she preceded him in death on August 2, 2010.

After his education he worked at the Badger Basket Factory in Edgar. He moved to Medford in 1973 and worked at Weather Shield, Mfg. and Zuleger’s Standard Station, along with driving bus for Krug’s for over 20 years. He enjoyed polka dancing, bowling, auctions, all Wisconsin & Edgar sports. Tom was the life of the party on the dance floor especially when the songs “Wipeout” & “Proud Mary” were played. He was a member of the Chelsea Conservation Club & the Taylor County Humane Society.

Survivors are his siblings, Cathy Anderson of Medford, Cindy (Dale) Lapacz of Green Bay, Charles (Deb) Krebsbach of Edgar, Michael (Cindy) Krebsbach of Edgar and Ed (Donna) Krebsbach of Suamico. Also surviving are his brother-in-law, Len Strasser of Marshfield; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Krebsbach of Wausau, Krista (Tim) Ludwig of Mayville & Karla (Arthur) Klimpke of Medford; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Terry Krebsbach & Margie Strasser and his brother-in-law, Jerry Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given either to the Chelsea Conservation Club or Taylor County Humane Society in Tom’s name. Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake is serving the family. For online condolences, please visit hemerfuneralservice.com.
